A claim sale agreement should identify the parties, rights, price, conditions for transfer and payment, and what happens afterwards. Review the actual document rather than relying on a chat message or a promised percentage. The checklist below is not a contract or a legal opinion.
Identify the claim and the signing parties
Ask for the legal name of the buyer and the capacity of the person signing. Check your own name and authority, particularly if the account relates to a company, another person or joint ownership. A brand name in a messenger profile is not a complete description of the counterparty.
Locate the schedule describing the claim. It should let both parties identify which account, assets, disputed amounts and associated rights are being discussed. Flag inconsistencies between the schedule, evidence and earlier offer.
Follow the sequence from signature to payment
Write the proposed events in order. Determine which event creates a binding obligation, which conditions remain, when rights move and when payment is due. Ask how the parties establish receipt and what happens if a step fails.
This article does not endorse a particular order of payment and assignment. Appropriate protections depend on the transaction. A buyer’s explanation should be consistent with the operative document, including any cancellation provision.
Read the provisions that survive closing
These questions often matter as much as the headline price.
| Provision | Question to resolve |
|---|---|
| Future recoveries | Which later payments or replacement rights are included? |
| Elections and voting | Who makes permitted choices after a sale? |
| Seller statements | Are you promising facts beyond what you can verify? |
| Repurchase or repayment | When could money be demanded back from you? |
| Cooperation | What work or documents are required later, and at whose cost? |
| Disputes | Which governing law, forum and notice method apply? |
Do not treat account access as the transfer
An assignment of rights needs to be considered alongside the applicable BitMart agreement and any consent requirements. Section 9.2 of the published user agreement is relevant to that review. Handing over login details does not answer whether the intended rights can validly move.
Ask a suitably qualified adviser about unclear legal terms before committing. Preserve the signed version, schedules, approvals and payment record together so that later questions can be answered from the same set of documents.

Can I sign just a short message with a percentage?
A percentage leaves important issues unresolved. Ask for a document identifying the parties, rights, conditions and settlement terms.
Can the buyer require cooperation later?
The proposed contract may contain ongoing duties. Read their scope, duration and cost before deciding whether to accept.
